Merle's Door by Ted KerasoteRecently, I headed to the local Barnes and Noble on my lunch break in search of something to get my mind off things. I have seen this book a number of times and decided to go for it.
The book is the story of the author's relationship with a stray dawg that he picked up while river rafting.
The author lives near Jacksonhole, Wyoming and is an outdoorsman so there are tales of camping and backpacking and hunting - all with Merle at his side.
It's not a great book. It's not an exciting book. But it's good enough and the authors insight into the canine mind is truly amazing.
If you love dawgs and enjoy the great outdoors, you may want to pick this one up.
