- That the spinal fluid drains properly and does not build up on Annabelle's brain
- That the spinal cord is protected from scarring or other damage
- That Annie's nervous system continues to develop normally
- For healing of Bella's Spinal column and that the bones continue to develop properly
- That regardless of if/where the opening is on her spine, that Annie's "functionality" is normal
- That the nervous system develops in such a way that she has bladder and bowel control
- That her feet and legs develop normally
