From an e-mail I received yesterday:
The only thing i feel i can offer beyond the prayers i will share for Annabelle and your family is simply this: be with what is and accept it with as much grace as possible.
go with Grief when she comes, because there will be openings in the pain where you will see God's Love more clearly than perhaps you ever have before.
you are within a very painful miracle. you are changing and being challenged more than you ever bargained for, but there is still beauty and light and love all around you.
be present to your pain, your hopes, your fears, the small joys of everyday life. enjoy the sunshine and the flowers and the laughter of children, and mix that with the pain because this is our world, God's world for us, where we learn the hard lessons.
But the beauty from our time in fear and tragedy last year is that if you keep the faith, you will get closer to God and Love and the Eternal Truths.
