It has been a busy day at the office today so I am only getting around to posting this now and I have to leave soon for our Doctor's appointment this afternoon.
I will post a medical update after the doctor's appointment this afternoon.
Please keep us in your prayers today.
If you haven't seen the video over at Annabelle's Circle - you need to check it out.
All I can say is WOW.
A male co-worker of mine came into the office today and wanted to know how I spent my weekend.
I showed him the video and his eyes went misty.
"Did you cry?" he asked.
"More than once", I replied.
After everyone cleared out yesterday evening, Sean and I stood in the driveway exhausted and amazed. Sean put it well when he said something to the effect, "At one point there were so many people doing so many things and asking so many questions that I realized we had reached terminal velocity and I said to myself, 'There is no way we could work any faster or get any more done at once than we are doing right now.'"
The wife and I helped work on the house Saturday, Sunday and Monday but we have now been banished until Sunday evening for the big unveiling. We will be staying with gracious and generous friends this week instead of a Motel 6 and we are very thankful for that.
The wife and dawg stayed at the friends' place last night and I stayed at our house with the cat. This morning I packed up my clothes for the week, scooped up the cat and took one last look at around:

I have much more I want to share and say (such as THANK YOU to the youth group who drove all the way from LA) but if I don't cut it off now I will be late for the doctor's . . .
UPDATE:
I just got back to the office after the Doctor's appointment but now I have to leave again for a dinner appointment.
The short version is that there is no new news this time around although we did meet another doctor at the medical practice and we remain reassured in our decision to choose them.
I plan on coming into the office early tomorrow morning to set up my home computer and fill everyone in on the details.
Thank you to those those of you who have worked on the house during the past four days!
Thank you to those who are providing the funds so that there are materials to work with!
And thank you thank you thank you for keeping us in your prayers!

SOOO many great things going on! How can one even comment on it all? Terminal Velocity...yes, I believe you are correct. I LOVE the fire extinguisher on the make-shift kitchen table...priceless.
Looking forward to the further details of today's appt. And I am so happy that you both remain pleased with your decision to seek out Dr Hope and team. Such a relief and blessing! SEE YOU SOON! Jenn
