Watched a documentary last night about Mark Bittner. He is a semi-homless man who lives on Telegraph Hill in San Francisco, who takes care of a flock of wild parrots. It is called The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill.
It is one of the most touching movies I have seen in quite some time. Mark Bittner is both soft and well spoken and he clearly LOVES these parrots.
Throughout the movie, Mark describes many of the parrots he has befriended and named - giving you their personal history and his hopes and dreams for each one.
If you have any love for animals, chances are, you will love this movie - highly recommended.
