On The Run, 08/05/07

We had a good run at Balboa Park this morning. I kept the Dawg on the leash the whole time as we are working on some obedience issues and he did just fine.

We got a little bit of a late start so it was warmer than usual. At the end of the run, we walked past a fountain and the Dawg went right up to it to get a drink - and then jumped in. That dawg must have been hot!



This is the Botanical Building at Balboa Park. Balboa Park was built for the 1915 Pan-American Expo. The architecture is wonderful. It is like running through a city of ornate sand-castles.

There are about 15 miles of paved pathways and dirt trails to run on.

It is our version of Central Park.
