Now that I am back to the daily grind, runs have to start a bit earlier (my alarm went off at 4am this morning . . .)
The weird thing about running in the dark is that dark is dark. It doesn't get any darker. On any given day it is just as dark an hour after sunset as it is an hour before sunrise . . . . so really, what difference does it make if you run at 11pm or 1am or 5am? (other than sleep and sanity)
My left knee is still bothering me but it doesn't seem to hurt any worse than yesterday so I am not really sure what is going on there . . .
So, what, may you ask, was I thinking about on my philosophical run this morning?
