A New Perspective

A friend of ours sent Annabelle some beautiful outfits the other day along with a very special card.


In it, she wrote that she is thinking of Annie's casts as "two cocoons . . . A protective and safe place for your tiny feet to transform."


It's a very nice thought and I think I am going to try and picture them the same way.


Maybe the next time a stranger asks about them I will just say they are cocoons and she is growing her butterfly wings inside them . . .
