Well, the casts are starting to pile up around here. We are on cast/week #6 right now.If women are already pre-disposed with an affinity for shoes, what sort of impact does it have on an infant who gets a new "pair" every single week? This can't be good . . .
We had some wheeling and dealing to do this week as next Thursday we are flying north to Seattle for Christmas - compliments of Papa and Gram on the wife's side . . .
The doc agreed to come in at 7:30am so that we could get the new casts on and still make our flight - what a guy.
So Annie will have the next set of casts on for two weeks since we will be out of town. Then the doc will probably do some x-rays to take a look at the bone structure of Annabelle's feet and see where we go from there.
As things stand right now, they are planning on doing a heel-cord-lengthening procedure which will require Annie to be in casts for three weeks straight. Throw in one more pair for good measure and we are probably looking at 7 more weeks of being plastered - 12 weeks in all . . .

Look how good those feet look! Heel cord lengthening will bring them into alignment. She sure is looking good!
