Winter? What Happened to Fall?!

Here in So. Cal. we measure the seasons by the calendar - not by the weather:

Sunny and 72 on September 22nd: It's fall!

Sunny and 68 on December 22nd: It's winter!

Sunny and 72 on March 22nd: Spring!

Sunny and 82 on June 22nd: Summer!

I guess it's different in other parts . . . .
