The baby is grumpy (quite a feet for little miss giggles) - Daddy is frustrated - my boss is hacked off - the wife (still in Vegas) is concerned - the dawg is depressed.
Did I mention this is not my fault?
We got off to a bad start. The wife had to feed Annie lunch early on Wednesday so she could drop her at the TKA in time to get to the airport. We haven't managed to recover since then.
Due to forces beyond any one's control naps have been missed which throws off the meal times which plays havoc with bed times and morning routines. It's really no one's fault. Well, actually, I blame this kid:
Yes swine flu has been a factor - causing me to miss half a day of work - and no, I don't have the SF and neither does Annie (so far).

I filled the tub last night fully intending to give him a bath. He knows the drill. When the tub is filled and he sees the bath towel on the floor, he starts to hang his head and mope around until he gets the order, "Buckley, COME."
Only I never got around to actually giving him a bath last night (did I mention the forces beyond my control?). So the poor pooch has had the sword of Damacles hanging over him for going on a full day now.
Are we going to give up? No sir!
The baby is up and fed. The dishes and laundry are done. The dawg has been kind enough to hoover up all the Cheerios and Kix cereal that Annabelle dumped on the floor. So we all have that going for us.
I am going to wash the dawg then feed myself.
Mommy comes home tomorrow. I expect we will be back on schedule about 20 min before her plane touches down and she is back . . . from Las Vegas. On her business trip. I KNOW.
But today, the world is ours! Annie gets in free to Sea World and right now adults only pay the kids ticket price so I am giving serious consideration to that. See you there!
