It's Going To Be A Bumpy Ride . . .

Just for kicks - here is my election prediction:

Recount galore from coast to coast extending for days if not weeks.

In the end, Obama wins popular vote - McCain wins electoral college and the Presidency.

One half the country goes totally-off-the-rails-bonkers about it.

Which makes your vote count more than ever!

Republicans in blue states and Democrats in red states often lament that their vote "does not count" because it is highly unlikely that their state's electoral votes will go to the candidate of their choosing. Which is true.

HOWEVER . . .

Everyone's votes will make a difference in the popular vote count and possibly help avoid a replay of the 2000 election where Gore won the popular vote and Bush won the electoral college.

For the good of the country - we could really use an outcome where the popular vote matches the electoral college.

SO GET OUT AND VOTE.

First put your flag out . . . THEN GET OUT AND VOTE.

In further predictions:

Hillary 2012 bumper stickers start going up the day after the winner is announced . . . regardless of who the winner is . . . .

There it is - we shall see if I am right.
