Bravery

Every now and then when someone hears our story of the past year and a half and all that we have been through people will comment, "You guys are so strong / brave / inspirational . . " etc. Of course we don't feel like any of those things most days.

My usual response is somewhere along the lines of, "We are just keepin' on keepin' on - doing what we have to. I am not sure how brave a person is when they don't have a choice in the matter . . ."

Michelle Detwilr and her husband did have a choice - they chose to adopt medically fragile children.

This is what bravery looks like.

Michelle has been a constant source of wisdom and knowledge and encouragement for us this past year.
