Another Favorite Gift

Like many parents, we totally intend on torturing our child with piano lessons. It is a regret of mine that I never learned how to read music or, for that matter, basic music theory.

So with that in mind, we saved up a gift certificate from Annie's birthday and Gram and Poppa chipped in for the rest of Annie's first piano this Christmas. It's really just a toy from Toys R Us but, for a toy, it closely approximates the real thing.


Annie is sitting on the little piano bench in this photo (with a little assistance). She can't really sit unaided on the bench at this point but the piano is the perfect height for her wheelchair. Often when she is at her new toy table or watching a video, she will reach over and *plink*plink*plink* on her new piano.

It brings a smile to our faces every time.
