Incoherant Ramblings from a First-Time Father of an Extraordinary Daughter, along with Musings on Life, Food, Books, Entertainment, Running (heh - yeah, right) and Poetry all with a Lousy Dawg
Have you read the book "The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein? A friend read it and loved it so much that she bought a copy for like 10 of her friends. It's a very quick read. I read it in two afternoons. I think you would like it. It's written from the perspective of a dog (which sounds cheesy, but it isn't, and dog lovers seem to love it). Anyways, it is filled with heartache and suffering and all sorts of deep issues, but the relationship between the man and his dog throughout is pretty neat to read from that perspective. I recommend it!
